MID-YEAR REPORT: 10 Nigerian Female Celebrities Killing the Fashion Game in 2016!

From street style to red carpet looks, designer dresses to fab everyday outfits; celebrity fashion can be a hit or miss because as public figures, they often do too little or too much to stay at top of the fashion ladder.

We’ve compiled a list (in no particular order) of who we believe to be slaying the fashion scenes in 2016 so far. So thank your stylists, ladies, because you are now crowned the best of the best. Don’t see your favorite? Don’t worry; we still have half a year to change our minds.

1: Mo'Cheddah

The “Bad” crooner's Lagosian-urban and cool -style depicts someone with a good eye for fashion. Her ambassadorial deal with Miskay boutique doesn't come as a surprise as she is the perfect candidate for the job!

2: Rita Dominic

Is there even a list without Rita Dominic? Rita's polished, sophisticated style translates perfectly to her personality - even when she's just wearing jeans.

3: Mercy Aigbe-Gentry

Yoruba movie star Mercy Aigbe, has recently broken her way into the fashion scene. A lover of classic fits and following fashion trends, she always looks chic regardless of the occasion.

4: Toke Makinwa

This OAP obviously knows how to stay on trend. While Toke usually sticks to high end pieces and classic looks, we also absolutely adore her pretty street style.

5: Tiwa Savage

The singer and mommy of one has a trademark edgy style, which typically involves bold colors and prints, helps her stand out even more than she already does. With a few misses along the way, The singer has managed to put her fashion foot forward and we love what we see!

6: Zainab Balogun

AKA Slaynab Baelogun she is the queen of the urban-chic aesthetic . She brightens our timeline with her vibrant and bold looks.

7: Lisa Folawiyo

Nobody does high end fashion like Lisa Folawiyo. The delectable Creative director of the brand Jewel by Lisa is undeniably a fashion legend in the making.

8: Bolanle Olukanni

Bolanle never fails to give us outfit and body goals. She always completes all her fabulously looks with a charming smile.

9: Eku Edewor

This British Nigerian actress is the epitome of effortless cool. An everyday ensemble of trousers, mules and a plain top looks anything but average when styled by her friend and stylist Bubu Ogisi.

10: Stephanie Coker

Watching this beaut on "The Voice Nigeria" has become our favourite thing to do as she quenches our fashion thirst with her gorgeous looks!
