Stylish, suave, urban, and versatile are just a few words to describe our man crush this Monday, Mai Atafo. One of the leading fashion designers in Nigeria, Mai’s journey into fashion began when he quit his white collar job as a brand manager to train as a tailor at The Savile Row Academy.
He caught the attention of the fashion industry with the creation of his brand, Mai Atafo Inspired. Not only that, his personal style is impeccable and debonair. Mai is major eye candy.
In 2011, Mai Atafo through his parent brand, ‘Mai Atafo Inspired’, launched a wedding line called ‘Weddings by Mai’. The wedding line caters to every wedding clothing element from the bridal gown, bridesmaids dress, little bride’s dresses, groom and grooms men’s suit, waistcoat and cravat.
Mai Atafo has been recognized around Africa for his contributions to fashion design and style with an impressive number of awards ranging from 2011 Thisday Style, Best Dressed Man to 2015 Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week, Menswear Designer of the Year it is obvious that the sky is just the stepping stone for this hot chunk of choco.
