For the longest time, I have been in search of the perfect body lotion for dry skin. My skin is a mix really, my face is oily and my legs are hellaa dry! I have experimented with a lot of products, while some may have worked, I discontinued due to climate issues.
I mean the heat in Lagos is bad enough, I don't need the extra heat and slimy/sticky skin caused by some body creams. It got so bad that I completely stopped applying lotion on my back. I could manage sweating on my face and all but not my back! This then gave way for dry skin issues such as eczema.
Now I had double wahala! Dry skin plus eczema trying to take over my back! Lmao! Wasn't funny at all o! I tried Ori (Shear Butter) but I didn't like the smell and gloss effect it had.
Then I decided to try the E45 Mosturising Lotion. My sis got it from London for about £8 or so. It was a GOOD buy! It leaves my skin moisturised. To be honest it still has that slimy feeling that I hate when the sun is cray cray but it's not as bad (as long as you don't rub too much at a time) It also cleared the eczema totally! I love love this product! I don't know how much it costs in Naira, hopefully not too much (like I have a choice, I would buy it anyway) I have never used it on my face because my face is oily, so I cannot say for sure how the product blends with makeup and all that.
